Supergraphics and the Los Angeles Skyline

According to the Los Angeles Times:
A company that installs the oversized advertisements known as supergraphics has gone to court to demand that Los Angeles let it keep images on as many as 118 multistory buildings while federal judges review challenges to city billboard regulations.

I for one could not be happier that they are being asked to remove those over-sized billboards. Not only do I dislike them, I think that they are a hazard to traffic in the city of Los Angeles.

Though I have never personally been in an accident that has been caused by these things, I would have to believe that there have been plenty of people who have. Maybe even enough that they could organize and file a class action lawsuit, maybe get themselves one of them fancy Los Angeles personal injury attorneys.

Pedestrian Killed While Legally Crossing Street - Personal Injury Accident Tips

Last week a pedestrian legally crossing the street in the intersection of 5th and Flower in Downtown Los Angeles was struck and killed by a DASH bus. This tragic incident brings up questions of safety and what to do if you are involved in an accident while walking. For most of us, when we drive we make sure to have auto insurance, but for those of us that walk (me included) what do we have to do to stay safe.

Here are a few tips:
1. Make sure to call 911 if you receive serious injuries.
2. Make sure to get the driver's information such as license number, license plate number, and insurance information.
3. Contact a Los Angeles based personal injury lawyer that will make sure you get a settlement that will allow you to pay your medical bills and any other bills that will accumulate while you are out of work. There are plenty, but getting one with lots of experience like Ringler, Kearney, Alavarez LLP will insure get the best settlement for you and your family.

Here is a link to a great article about what happened last week.
